Star Wars editor Paul Hirsch says in the book Star Wars: The Annotated Screenplays that 'In the original cut of the film Ben and Luke heard the message first and then they talked about Luke's father and the sword' So what Adywan has done is return to something closer to the original edit. This is a scene taken from Adywans fan edit called, Star wars: Revisited, it was released in 2008. As you can see the scene is a bit faster and intense than.
First, Star Wars is copyrighted by LFL and you have to own a copy of the films in order to own a copy of this edit. This is a free edit/enhancement, if you bought this edit from someone you have to go kick them in the nuts and get your money back (this was also Ady's suggestion in the pop up video section listing all the changed of ANH:R and we all agree wholeheartedly.). If they do not have nuts, well just get your money back and call them a bad word to make them cry. =P
Now to get Revisited on DVD you have to have a few things:
Best free video editing software. #1 A DVD Burner… this comes standard on most new computers… if you don't have a newer comp. Then it's time to buy a new computer or make friends with someone who does.
#2 A DVD-R, depending on the Revisited version DVD-5 or DVD-9 there are two recordable DVD types you can choose from. Most likely you will have DVD-5s (DVD-R 4.5GB) and so you will be looking for the DVD-5 version of Revisited. But i would recommend getting the DVD-9 Version as this has better picture quality and all of the special features. For this you will need some DVD+R DL (8GB) blank discs
#3 A DVD burner program that burns iso files… Iso files are a image file of a DVD that DVD burner programs will recognize and be able to burn that you will just be able to pop in most DVD Players and will play like a regular DVD. It will have the audio and video files along with the interactive menu and easter egg (yes, there is a really fun easter egg for ANH:R along with awesome deleted scene).
I recommend 'Isoburner' which is free and easy to use.
IMGburn is recommended by Ady (google it folks, see #4)

#4 Google: You're gonna need to track down Revisited (and the burner program if you don't have one already See #3) on most likely one of many torrent sites. They are easy to download and shouldn't take too long as long as people are seeding.
There are direct download links available though. These have not been posted by anyone on the Revisited team, but by others. Indiralohathil na azhagappan hd video songs free download. Minecraft creative free.

NTSC DVD-9 8GB
NTSC DVD-5 4.5GB
PAL DVD-9 8GB

Mega have recently placed a download limit of 5GB for free accounts. Once you have reached that limit there is a waiting time of around 5 hours+ before they will let you continue your downloads. There is nothing we can do about this as we do not host these files and have been kindly uploaded by someone outside of the Revisited team.

We do not have anything to do with these links so they may be removed if we are instructed to do so. If you have no idea what a torrent is, or what an iso file is, or what a DVD is… then see #5. The sims 3 crack version 1.36 45.
#5 A general knowledge of technology… If you have NO idea what I'm talking about then learn. Simple as that… I've done more than my part here and learned the bulk of this on my own so you should do the same. Should you wish not to learn but still want this version of Star Wars then I'd recommend making friends with someone more tech savy than you are and the patience to help you further.
#6 The official cover and DVD label is in the DVD-ROM folder on the DVD-9 version.

#7 Make sure you download the correct format, NTSC or PAL depending upon your country.
If it ever bothered you that the color of the snow on the planet Hoth looks more blue than white, then you're in luck. A new fan edit of The Empire Strikes Back has been released, which rolls back changes from the derided special editions but still uses stuff from the special editions, and it has its own original reshoots, too. In addition to worrying about the color of snow, this project is also concerned with the Emperor in a hologram being both old-school and new-school at the same time. Confused? Here's the deal.

The Empire Strikes Back Revisited is a fan edit that has been underway since 2009. But as of August 12, 2017, the person behind it says it's done. He calls him himself Adywan and touts his vision of Star Wars as 'what the special editions should have been!' The basic concept here is to 'fix' editing and VFX errors with the existing versions of the classic trilogy, i.e. the 2004 DVDs. To be clear, again, this is not a de-specialized edition but instead, a Star Wars potpourri, where the editor kind of chooses what he likes from the special editions and the classic versions, too. At one point, Adywan apparently tried to reshoot the Wampa sequence with his wife in a bespoke Wampa costume. Really!

This project produces a few strange sentences. For example, it's tough for even a hardcore fan to wrap their mind around the concept of 'the original 2004 Emperor edited to match the 1980 dialogue.' If you're wondering whether or not the Emperor is a time traveler, he's not. But this Emperor stuff does represent the entire project in a microcosm. In 1980, the Emperor was not played by Ian McDiarmid like he was in 1983's Return of the Jedi and all the prequels. Sonic atom rt audio analysis 1 4 2. Back then he was voiced by Clive Revill, who sounds nothing like McDiarmid. So, when Lucas did the special editions, he put McDiarmid in there as the Emperor. Motorola gm300 radio doctor download. As far as special edition changes, this doesn't seem like a big deal? Nothing like approaching the blasphemy of Greedo shooting first. Right?
Well, here's the rub. When Lucas put a new/old Emperor in the Empire Strikes Back, he changed the dialogue. The Emperor's speech in the special edition of Empire is full of a lot more keywords, like 'rebel' and Death Star' and 'Anakin Skywalker.' So, for his 'revisited' project, Adywan looks at this and fixes it; he puts the canonical Emperor (McDiarmid) into the scene but edits it to where the dialogue is closer to the Revill version from 1980.
All in all, it's an impressive —albeit confusing — undertaking. Making the outside snow scenes look white rather than blue seems like an arbitrary choice. Plus, if one has ever read a biography of George Lucas, they'd know he was obsessed with color palettes. What's the big deal with the blue lighting on Hoth? Does it look too fake? Have fans out-George Lucased George Lucas, finally?
By combining the gloss of the special editions with the simplicity of the original versions, the Revisited edit neatly represents the entirety of hardcore Star Wars fandom in one project. Here is a place where retcon, fan canon, and nitpicking details all live together, struggling to restore a balance to the Force that may never actually be possible.
The entire fan edit is available directly from Adywan's website.
